HOW DOES BEER BOX WORK?

Once each quarter (four times a year), subscribers receive a curated case of twenty-four craft beers, delivered to their door. Curated by the Vancouver Craft Beer Week team, each case will showcase a delicious selection of different brews. From bottles to cans, stouts to IPAs, each box will showcase an incredible mix of craft beer. 

Subscribers will only know which beers they are receiving once they open the box. It is time to step away from always drinking the same ol’ beer and delight your tastebuds to see what the VCBW team can put together for you.


The Beer Box system:

  1. You subscribe and pay - either with a quarterly payment or an annual one

  2. You receive 24 delicious craft beers, every 3-months, specially curated by the team at VCBW

  3. When ready, pull out the beer you want to drink

  4. Optionally, to learn more about the brewery and the product you are about to drink, scan the QR code and watch a custom video from the brewery telling you all about the brewery, the ingredients, tasting notes, what it can be paired with, etc. We are bringing that VCBW ’'sipping and learning’ experience to your home!

HOW IS THE BEER SELECTION CURATED?

Vancouver Craft Beer Week, Canada’s premier craft beer festival has invited the most enticing breweries and beers available within in the market to include into each delivery. The goal of each box is to have a delicious mix of different beers; beers meant to be enjoyed at the particular time of year that the box is delivered.


WILL THERE BE MULTIPLES OF THE SAME BEER IN ONE DELIVERY?

Although we try our very best to make sure there are no duplicates, once in a while it does happen. Good news is, all the beer in the box is incredible so in the case that you do receive a dupe, enjoy it twice!


HOW DO I SIGN-UP?

It’s incredibly easy. Click here to let us know where to send your beer. That’s it.


WHY CAN’T I SIGN UP? It’s ASKING IF I WANT TO BE ON A WAITING LIST? WHAT’S UP?

To get a Beer Box subscription will be challenging, to say the least. It is a VCBW product - a brand extremely trusted within the craft beer community of BC, the quality of the beer/breweries, the price that it is offered at and the small allotment of subscriptions available will all contribute to subscriptions being sparse.

When you push ‘subscribe’ and it says that ‘there are no subscriptions presently open’, it means the subscription list is full and we are only adding people to the Beer Box mailing list at the present time. Beer Box subscriptions are released in very limited numbers. If none are presently available, please sign-up on the waiting list and once we drop more openings, you will be notified first.

Be ready as the moment the new subscriptions drop, they will sell out instantly.


WHAT IS THE COST?

$99 per 24 beers + $0 Delivery, if paid Quarterly.  

$89 per 24 beers + $0 Delivery, if paid Annually - Save $40/year!

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

Once you’ve selected your subscription, your first payment (annual or quarterly) will be processed upon checkout and a receipt will be sent to you via e-mail. If you choose quarterly payments, your subsequent payments will be processed on the billing dates listed below.


When are the boxes delivered?

EARLY SUMMER l Delivered Jun 1st - 15th

LATE SUMMER l Delivered Sep 1st - 15th

HOLIDAY l Delivered Dec 1st - 15th

SPRING l Delivered March 1st - 15th


CAN I CANCEL ANYTIME? 

Yes.

Is there anything worse than not being able to cancel a subscription or a service when you want to? Or, if you can, when the company makes it impossible to figure out how to do so?  Rest assured that you can cancel your Beer Box Subscription whenever you want.


HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

To cancel your subscription, it-is-soooo-easy.

  1. Visit thebeerbox.ca an login

  2. Click Cancel Subscription

Please remember that once you unsubscribe, it will be very difficult to get back on the subscription list if you choose to. There is no pausing a subscription so once you are off the list, you will have to be quick on the draw the next time subscriptions are dropped.


HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

Delivery is free for all subscription products to Lower Mainland. Extra fees apply to farther regions. Only available within BC.


WHERE DOES BEER BOX SHIP?

We currently ship all over the Lower Mainland, as well as Squamish, Whistler, Victoria & Nanaimo. More locations within BC will be added soon!


HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

You can be any age, as long as you are at least 19 years old. All shipments within the province of BC that contain alcohol require someone who is 19+  to show proof of age via two pieces of ID (one government issued and one with your full name). They will also have to sign for the delivery. Once the Beer Box delivery team confirms your age and identity, the beer is yours!

To avoid missing your delivery, we highly recommend that your beer is delivered to an office or place of work so to avoid not being there to receive the delivery. If you miss your delivery, delivery will be reattempted at a later date.


I LOVED ONE OF THE BEERS… HOW DO I GET MORE?

Login to thebeerbox.ca and within the members area (if you are a subscriber), you will have access to a shopping cart of all of beers available within that quarter’s Beer Box. If you live between Chilliwack and North Vancouver, our friends at LIQR.CA will deliver any of the showcased beers, to your door, with no delivery fee, the very next day.


I FEEL LIKE MY BEER SHOULD HAVE ARRIVED ALREADY BUT I DON’T HAVE IT… WHAT SHOULD I DO?

MY ORDER IS DAMAGED.  WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please refuse delivery if there are any signs of damage. Contact us straight away and we will process a refund for the damaged items.
